Kelby heard about the Prince’s Trust Programme through his foster parents, who were worried he was spending too much time playing video games and not developing social skills that would allow him to get a job and find friends. Having spent most of his life in care he developed an isolation coping mechanism.

Outcome
Since completing the Prince’s Trust Programme, Kelby went on to enrol on a music course with South Devon College. Due to the friendships he made with other learners on the programme he now spends a lot more time socialising, progressing his social skills further.
