Are you 19+ and get anxious when it comes to maths?
You’re not alone 57% of the working age adult population in England are in the same boat!
Three in 10 people say they are not a “numbers person”.
It’s our aim to change that.
Multiply offers easy access to free numeracy courses and initiatives that can help you brush up your maths skills and help you become more confident with numbers. Whether you need help in managing your bills, budgeting or you want to improve your potential at work.

Our short quiz will help you to understand where you might want to brush up on your numbers.
There are 6 multiple-choice numeracy questions, it will take around 5 minutes to complete and you may use a calculator if you wish. The quiz will also help explain how to get to the correct answer.
Our courses are divided into sections to make them as adaptable as possible, with the goal of focusing on the areas where you need the most assistance.
Whether it’s figuring out weights and measures to help you cook, basic computer skills (including arithmetic), improving your ability to help your children with schoolwork, starting your own business, managing your bills and budgeting or preparing for GCSE. Everything is covered in our classes.

Basic Computer Skills

An introductory course that gives you the tools to be able to continue learning from home.
Jewellery Making
SHORT COURSE – 10 Hrs (Including 2 hr engagement session)
Based around a market stall scenario you will learn the skills to be able to plan, budget, make products and plan a profitable stall.

Slow Cooker Sessions
SHORT COURSE – 10 Hrs (Including 2 hr engagement session)
Using a slow cooker is one of the most cost and time effective ways of cooking. Being able to handle starters, mains and desserts!
– Getting you familiar with a slow cooker
– Budgeting
– Preparing ingredients (weights and measures)
– Cooking and taste testing
– Results survey using graphical data

Beach Cleaning

If none of the above options are you cup of tea then join us on our beach cleaning or environmental walking sessions – get out of the house, do something for the environment and your own health and wellbeing.
