Employment & Skills Mentor  (Ref 0022)

Hours: Full Time 37.5 per week

We’re looking for an experienced tutor who can inspire, engage, and enable adults to learn new skills, overcome their barriers and achieve their goals.

We need a creative and energetic team member to work with learners in very small groups. Ideally you will have experience of delivering wellbeing and health programmes, and can demonstrate empathy and understanding of a variety of backgrounds. Experience in teaching within the SEN and specialist education market would be an advantage, but is not essential. 

Everything we do is person-centred, so it’s essential to identify how people overcome and manage their barriers in life and learning. We need to be able to demonstrate the good work you do, so good planning, IT skills and recording learner achievements will be key to your success.

Employment & Skills Mentor (ICT) (Ref 0023)

Hours: 30 hours per week (may include work during evenings, weekends and bank holidays)

Salary Band: £18,000-£24,000 (pro rata) 

Location: Wiltshire- also required to work at other sites as directed (Must have a valid driving licence, car available, business use insurance for any business- related travel )

We’re looking for teacher/ tutor who can deliver an support ICT learning packages. You will be personally ICT confident and have previous experience of delivering ICT to learners at various levels, starting with absolute beginners! You will be able to enthuse and inspire learners who may have been out of a learning environment for many years, and/or have had previously low expectations of enjoying the learning process!

You will be able to plan and deliver interesting and relevant qualifications; assess learners and evaluate your delivery, maintaining prescribed standards and meeting the requirements of funding/ quality bodies (Ofsted, Matrix, etc). You will be able to develop teaching and learning resources that meet the learner and curriculum needs in a holistic and effective way. You will work with employers as appropriate or when required to help identify and design training packages, also to develop work experience, supported internships, traineeships, apprenticeships and progression opportunities and select suitable candidates and support applications for workplace opportunities.

Prince’s Trust Team Leader (Ref 0021)

The Team programme is one of The Prince’s Trust most long-standing and core programmes. It is a full-time 12-week personal development programme for 16-25 year olds largely delivered through community work. Its primary aim is to build confidence, motivation and skills to help unemployed young people return to education or  move into employment. It is delivered by external Delivery Partners and also directly by Prince’s Trust staff in some areas. It is the Team Leader’s responsibility to deliver the Team programme directly in line with the Toolkit, KPIs and targets.

Work and Learning Coach (Ref 0020)

We’re looking for an experienced tutor/teacher who can inspire, engage, and enable young people to learn new life skills and achieve their goals in our non classroom-based setting.

We need creative and energetic team members to work with learners 1:1 or in very small groups, demonstrating empathy and understanding plus a tenacious attitude and a flexible approach to deliver from Entry Levels to GCSE.

Everything we do is person-centred, so it’s essential to identify how people overcome and manage their barriers in life and learning. We need to be able to demonstrate the good work you do, so good planning and recording learner achievements will be key to your success.

Experience in teaching within the SEN and specialist education market will be an advantage as well as bringing in fresh ideas. If you know the difference between Growth and Fixed Mindsets, can inspire learners to move out of a learning pit, deal with challenging behaviour and can work as part of team, then we would love to hear from you.
