Kickstart Customer Support Assistant – ( Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton & Plymouth)

Supporting the Customer Support Coordinators and Centre Manager to provide a professional service to all our learners, customers and stakeholders.

Kickstart Marketing Administration Assistant – Torquay

Providing administrative support for our Marketing team, including record-keeping, data entry and assistance creating leaflets, website, social media & video.

Kickstart Community Administration Assistant – Paignton

Providing administrative support for our Community Projects and Volunteer programme.

Volunteer – Community Shop

Part time: Minimum 4 hours per week

Location: The Pad, Paignton

This role involves sorting goods for our Community Fridge while keeping it tidy and well stocked.

You will have the ability to interact positively and effectively with both customers and staff as well as following health & safety guidelines. 

This is a hands on role so the ability to lift boxes, stack shelves and pack crates is essential!

Volunteer – Driver

Part time: Minimum 2 hours per week

Location: The Pad, Paignton

This role will involve picking up food surplus from suppliers / supermarkets as well as delivering meals out to community partners and customers.

This is a hands on role so you will need to be able to lift heavy boxes and pack crates.

A full valid driving license and access to your own vehicle will be essential!

Youth Hub Administrator

 

Salary: £17,500 to £22,500 pro rata (fixed term to 31st August 2021)

Part Time: 16 hours pw over 4 days

Location: Torquay (also working in Totnes, Newton Abbot & Paignton)

We need a super-organised individual who can provide full administrative support for our youth projects. This role will operate flexibly in meeting the needs of the business and our customers which will include working on assignments that will change from day to day.

You will have a friendly and professional manner, as you will be first point of contact for all youth project queries. 

This role is fixed-term until August 2021.

Project Worker – Housing

 

Salary: £19,500 to £22,500 (fixed term to 31st March 2021)

Part Time: 37.5 hours pw 

Location: Torquay (also working in Paignton, Newton Abbot & Totnes)

Can you inspire and motivate people to overcome significant barriers in their lives? We’re looking for a dynamic Project Worker, preferably with experience of resolving local housing issues, who can support unemployed or economically inactive adults in small teams or individually. You will identify and address any obstacles and help them develop a range of employability and life skills such as confidence, emotional resilience, communication, planning, organisation and presentation.

You will provide dedicated support with housing applications, tenancy skills, budgeting and independent living, finding practical solutions to keep people housed.

This role is fixed-term until March 2021.

Youth Project Worker

 

Salary: £19,500 to £22,500 (pro rata) (fixed term to 31st December 2021)

Part Time: 30 hours pw

We’re looking for a dynamic Youth Worker who can support unemployed or economically inactive 16 to 25 year olds in small teams or individually. You will have excellent record-keeping skills, completing administration and financial recording relating to Eat That Frog’s delivery  in an accurate and timely fashion. 

This role is fixed-term until December 2021.

You will deliver construction programmes virtually and face-to-face to small groups of adults to build on their practical knowledge of construction and health and safety, engaging them with community-based projects and practical tasks as appropriate.

Prince’s Trust Team Programme – Team Leader 

 

Salary: £22,000 to £26,000

Part Time: 37.5 hours pw 

Location: Torquay

Can you engage, inspire and motivate young people to work as a team and achieve their goals? Then we need you!

The Team Programme is one of The Prince’s Trust’s most long-standing and core programmes. It is a full-time 12-week personal development programme for 16-25 year olds largely delivered through community work. Its primary aim is to build confidence, motivation and skills to help unemployed young people return to education or move into employment. It is delivered by external Delivery Partners and also directly by Prince’s Trust staff in some areas. It is the Team Leader’s responsibility to deliver the Team programme directly in line with the Toolkit, KPIs and targets.
