cultural exchange for
send schools and colleges

Offering a 10 to 24 day cultural exchange programme to staff and students of SEND schools and colleges within Great Britain. Learners can enjoy a variety of enriching activities to help with learning,  communication, language, teamwork, and independent living.

What is a cultural exchange?

Cultural exchange programmes are organised opportunities that enable individuals—particularly students and young people—to travel overseas, live in another country, and immerse themselves in a different culture. These programmes foster mutual understanding, encourage language development, and promote global citizenship by allowing participants to experience the everyday life, education systems, and customs of their host community. Whether through study, volunteering, or short-term placements, cultural exchange programmes help individuals gain valuable skills, broaden their horizons, and build lasting international relationships.

Eat That Frog is a Specialst Post-16 Institution based in Devon and  as the beneficiary of a grant from the Turing Scheme, if you decide to become one of our partners, and sign the agreement, you will also have access to our Turing Grant, meaning the travel, food and accommodation of the trip is covered under this grant* .
