We’re pleased to share that Eat That Frog CIC has been named Best Specialist SEND Education & Training Provider 2026 – South West England in Corporate Vision’s Education and Training Awards 2026.

The recognition provides a welcome opportunity to celebrate the work taking place across our specialist Post-16 provision and, most importantly, the achievements of the young people we support.

For 15 years, Eat That Frog has worked with young people and adults across Devon, helping people overcome barriers, develop new skills and progress towards greater independence, further education and employment.

Supporting young people with SEND

Our specialist Post-16 provision supports young people aged 16–25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with education centred around each learner’s individual needs, aspirations and EHCP outcomes.

Across our centres, learners benefit from small-group and individual support, embedded English and maths, careers guidance, work experience and opportunities to develop the skills needed for adulthood.

Our Supported Internship programme also enable young people with an EHCP to gain meaningful experience in the workplace, supported by specialist job coaches and employers who are committed to creating more inclusive opportunities.

While every learner’s journey is different, our aim is always the same: to help young people build confidence, independence and the skills they need to take their next step.

A reflection of our teams and learners

Being recognised in the Education and Training Awards 2026 gives us another reason to celebrate the dedication of our teams across the South West.

Our tutors, learning support staff, job coaches, careers advisers and centre teams work every day to create an environment where learners can develop at their own pace and work towards outcomes that are meaningful to them.

But the biggest recognition belongs to our learners themselves.

Success might mean gaining a qualification, completing a first work placement, travelling independently, speaking confidently in a group or moving into paid employment. These individual achievements are what make specialist education so rewarding.

We’re proud to see the work of our learners and teams recognised and look forward to continuing to create opportunities for young people with SEND across the South West.
